Raising Awarness for children across the globe struggling with child labor
Child labor provokes a child from their right to an education, their right to play, and their right to healthcare. These are all human rights that are not being provided to children all over the world, becoming an ongoing issue. Millions of children all over the world are being put in hazardous working conditions, affecting their lives and futures drastically.
Our campaign’s goal is to create awareness for children all over the world who are experiencing this oppression and struggling to obtain their basic rights. We want to inform people of what is occurring around them and encourage them to help us in the support.
The first step in raising awareness is informing yourself. Be aware of child labor conditions around the world. Next, educate families, friends, teachers, and anyone around you on this issue. Keep people conscious of and alert on the subject, many people do not understand or know about the real harm child labor brings and it's up to us to make a difference. If you want to take a step further, encourage your whole community by participating in World Day Against Child Labor, local organizations, plays, concerts, any anything else that will help spread awareness on the subject.
The media does not acknowledge the reality of child labor and how wide of an issue it has become. Many largely known brands use and support child labor, but do not make it known to the public or media, in hopes of gaining profit, not losing it.
